In short

We use your information to process and deliver your orders, look after you as a customer and, if you agree, send you marketing emails.
We share it only with the providers who help us do that, such as our production partner, couriers and payment providers. We never sell it.
We never see or store your full card number.

1. Who we are

Bjorgk is operated by ECPRO BRAND LTD (Companies House no. 13017691), International House, 12 Constance Street, London E16 2DQ. ECPRO BRAND LTD is the “controller” of your personal information, which means we decide how and why it is used. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email info@bjorgk.com.

2. The information we collect

Information you give us

Order details: your name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number (if you provide it), the products you buy and your order history.
Account details: if you create an account, your login details.
Messages: emails, contact-form messages and anything else you send our customer service team, including photos you send us about an order.
Marketing preferences: whether you’ve signed up to our emails.
Reviews: if you review a product, your review and the name you choose to show.

Information collected automatically

Your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you visit on our website.
Where your visit came from, for example an advert, an email or a search engine.
Information collected by cookies and similar technologies. Our Cookie Policy explains these.

Information from others

Payment providers confirm whether your payment went through and help us prevent fraud. We never receive your full card number.
Couriers and tracking services tell us where your parcel is.

If our business is sold or merged, your information may be transferred to the new owner so that they can continue to serve you.

5. Transfers outside the UK

Some of our providers, including our production partner, are based outside the UK or store information outside the UK. When we transfer personal information outside the UK, we make sure it is protected, for example by using the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or by relying on UK adequacy regulations. 6. How long we keep it

Orders and payment records: 6 years from the end of the financial year they relate to, as required by UK tax law.
Customer service messages: up to 3 years after our last contact with you. [TO CONFIRM]
Marketing: until you unsubscribe. We then keep a record that you’ve unsubscribed, so we don’t email you again.
Your account: until you ask us to close it, subject to the order records above.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
ask us to delete your information;
ask us to restrict how we use your information;
object to us using your information, including for marketing;
ask for your information in a portable format;
withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it.

To use any of these rights, email info@bjorgk.com. We’ll reply within one month. There’s normally no charge.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to run our website, understand how it’s used and measure our advertising. Our Cookie Policy explains which cookies we use and how to control them.

9. Security

Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal, and we never see or store your full card number. We limit access to personal information to the people and providers who need it.

10. Children

Our website and products are not aimed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information about children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. If we make important changes, we’ll let you know where appropriate.
